If you love Peterborough as much as we do, then it is important to support the one organization that is preserving the many local objects and documents that will convey a true sense of Our Town's past and our present to future generations.

Who else but a professionally directed Historical Society can assemble exhibits as complete and moving as "The Folkway Remembered"?  It is only through your continued support that we can offer school programs, community programs, research assistance and exhibits.  Who else could better produce important cultural events like The Folkway Remembered concert series?  

Membership Dues and Gifts to the Annual Fund support the day-to-day operations of the Historical Society.  We are not supported by taxpayer money, but are completely self supporting.   

The Peterborough Historical Society is classified a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.  All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
